We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to join our team as the Vice President - Sales Head (India). The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and driving PAN India sales with a larger focus on Government Sector clients. ----------------------- Job Title: Vice President - Sales Head (India) Location: ASKA Group HQ in New Delhi, India Industry: Firefighting Equipment &Solutions, Industrial Portable Light Towers & Rescue Equipments Reports To: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Job Overview: The Vice President - Sales Head (India) will be responsible for leading the sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and expanding market penetration to meet quarterly and annual targets for ASKA Equipments across India. This senior leadership role requires a hands-on, dynamic, results-driven professional with a deep understanding and proven experience in direct sales with Indian Government Ministries, State Government Departments, and Public Sector Undertakings(PSU) & Organizations. This role would also require managing the existing sales team, and reorganise and scale-up the sales organization in line with the sales strategy and business objectives of ASKA. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets. Business Development: Identify and explore new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations within government, Defence, industrial, and corporate sectors. Market Expansion: Expand ASKA’s footprint across new geographies and industry verticals in India, ensuring the company remains the dominant player in the fire safety, portable lights and rescue products market in India particularly in the Government Sector. Tender & Institutional Sales: Drive and oversee government and institutional sales , ensuring successful bidding and execution of contracts. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government bodies, industrial clients, fire safety departments, emergency services etc. Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team, driving a culture of excellence and accountability. P&L Management: Take ownership of sales performance, profitability, and cost efficiency. Competitive Analysis: Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to maintain ASKA’s leadership position. Brand Positioning: Work closely with the marketing team to strengthen ASKA’s brand presence and awareness. Qualifications & Experience: M.B.A from a reputed institute, with 15+ years of sales experience with 5+ years of sales leadership experience. OR Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputed institute, with 20+ years of sales experience with 5+ years of sales leadership experience. OR Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a reputed institute with 25+ years of relevant sales experience in manufacturing, operations etc. relevant industry with 5+ years of sales leadership experience. Sound understanding of product sales and ability to drive sales for fire extinguishers, firefighting equipment, portable lights and other products in the bouquet of ASKA. Strong experience and understanding of B2G sales, government procurement, and institutional sales. Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, market expansion, and managing large sales teams. Experience in leading and mentoring mid-large size sales teams across multiple locations. Strong network within government ministries, departments, agencies, defence, PSUs, industrial clients, and relevant organizations. Ability to assess market trends, and business data, and develop strategic initiatives. Experience in building sales strategy, sales planning and managing P&L.
