Team Lead for 24/7 Operation weather monitoring and emergency response center position : Primary responsibility : Safe and optimized weather routing for the entire fleet. Additional duties include optimizing routes, liaising with operations teams for realistic scheduling from a weather point of view, dealing with external vendors providing weather data, setting safe thresholds for different size of vessels, collaborating on innovations, emergency response, monitoring vessel performance, and managing the shift roster for the team. Qualifications : Class 1 competency certificate, 1-2 years sailing experience as Master (preferably on container vessels), having worked with a routing team is an added bonus and proficiency in Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
