Job Title

Purpose of the job: The Deployment Planner will leverage Advanced Planning Systems (APS) to optimize the distribution of Tyre products across the supply chain of India Geography. The ideal candidate will use sophisticated deployment planning, inventory management and truck load building techniques to ensure efficient and effective product deployment while meeting customer demands in the Tyre industry. Major Responsibilities: Responsible for generating norm-based deployment plan across the large SCM network of multiple plants, NDC, RDCs and LDCs. Responsible for truck load building to suggest optimum dispatch STOs across the network Derive net requirements and multiple nodes by considering on-hand Stock (post validating ageing criteria), Sales Orders, Demand, STOs, In-Transit etc. Exposure to Advance Planning System based deployment planning is added advantage Analyze MTD sales trends, market conditions, planning parameters on daily level to generate/validate deployment plans Coordinate with manufacturing and logistics teams to develop replenishment plans that minimize stockouts while reducing excess inventory Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to align production schedules with deployment requirements and market demands. Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery various stocking nodes, considering factors such as lead times, costs, and service levels Play important role on designing, communicating and governing segmentation-based deployment strategy with stakeholders from mfg. and sales domain Track and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) such as fill rates (Stock Outs), inventory turnover, and order cycle times, using Excel/APS tools to refine planning strategies continuously. Responsible for conducting RCAs of deployment misses, stock out reasons etc. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and procurement teams to ensure alignment in strategic objectives and address any supply chain challenges promptly Generate detailed reports and analyses on deployment activities, inventory levels, and forecasting accuracy to present to management and stakeholders. Internal & External Relationships : INTERNAL: Sales, Mfg. (plant FGS), Logistics, Finance, IT and Regional SCM for process mapping and new process implementation. EXTERNAL: APS Consultants RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 3-4 Years of proven experience in any SCM planning operational role. Knowledge of Net Requirement Calculation in planning domain is a must Quick learner with analytical bent of mind Proficiency in excel or any data analysis tool for the purpose of day-to-day deployment operations Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with attention to detail. Familiarity of ERP, Advance Planning System or any other SCM software is a plus Agile thought process, excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s degree in business application/supply chain. Bachelor’s degree in engineering/mathematics/Science
