Website: LinkedIn: Trunks Company: My Company | LinkedIn Instagram: Job Requirements and Skills: About the position- We are seeking an experienced Sr. Production Manager responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Production process, ensuring high production efficiency, quality standards, and on-time delivery of products. This leadership role involves coordinating teams, optimizing production workflows, maintaining safety standards, and driving continuous improvements in production processes. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in the automobile/furniture industry, with expertise in production management and labor issues handling. Ability to implement and drive Lean and continuous improvement initiatives. Experience in Creating & Implementing system & process. Expert in handling product-related grievances, services, and maintenance. Major responsibilities: Production Planning & coordination Develop and implement production schedules to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products. Collaborate with departments such as design, engineering, logistics, and supply chain to streamline operations. Prioritize production tasks, balancing customer orders, production capabilities, and inventory levels. Propose a plan for expansion and identify the root cause for problems with solutions Coordinate with the Sales team to get delivery on time, and take care of end-to-end logistics till the product is delivered Deep understanding of Metal, hardware, plating, coating, casting, etc. Understanding of hardware & manufacturing with high precision. Experience in establishing a small plants/service & repair warehouses. Quality Control & Assurance: Ensure that the production processes comply with quality standards and safety guidelines. Monitor and implement continuous improvement processes to enhance product quality and reduce defects. Work closely with the Quality Control (QC) team to address quality issues and implement corrective actions. Prepare assembly sequence steps (videos or manual) for various high volumes of products. Process Optimization & Efficiency: Continuously monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements. Utilize Lean production principle, Six Sigma, or other methods to enhance operational efficiency. Optimize production line setups, workflow, and machine utilization to increase Set Parameters /guidelines for each task & record timelines. Maintain production Job card for working hrs, calculations, and justifications Inventory, Asset Management & Supply Chain Coordination In coordination with the store in charge, oversee daily store operations to ensure efficient functioning and adherence to company policies. Align the purchase team for full kitting of material requirements. Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to avoid shortages or delays. Manage raw material storage and ensure proper stock rotation to minimize waste and maintain production continuity & throughput. Vendor Relations & Compliance: Conduct regular vendor audits, manage quality control for procured materials, and ensure timely follow-up on deliverables in coordination with the purchase department. Ensure all sourcing activities comply with company standards, as well as legal and regulatory requirements. System & Process Oversee the ongoing production FMS, streamline purchasing processes, track orders, and manage vendor information. Maintain accurate records of production output, schedules, quality control, and any incidents that occur. Prepare and submit production reports to senior management, highlighting performance, challenges, and key outcomes. Implement effective documentation and tracking systems for production processes. Experience in Automation & Machinery Labour workforce Management Monitor individual and team performance, setting clear productivity targets to ensure that production goals are met Maintain open communication with the workforce to ensure that workers' concerns are addressed and that they feel valued and heard. Address and resolve any disputes or conflicts between workers, supervisors, or other team members fairly and promptly. Ensure all workers adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment by implementing and monitoring safety protocols. Labour cost optimization on each Project Plan production installation at the site, manpower planning, transportation, and documentation Prepare daily performance ratings of production staff Education Graduate (preferably Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Additional certifications in production or quality management (e.g., Six Sigma) are a plus. Experience Minimum of 10 yrs. manufacturing industry like furniture/automobile (textile experience will not be considered). Proven leadership experience managing large production teams. Experience in implementing Lean production, Six Sigma, or other process optimization methodologies Job Location/ Hours This position is based in Jaipur , with occasional travel required.
