SCM Head - Vemgal Responsible for leading and managing overall supply chain department including sourcing, procurement, material planning and logistics strategics for TSAT. The Head of Supply Chain will manage a global supplier network, focusing on materials, equipment, indirect services and technologies for an OSAT pilot line semiconductor factory. Key Responsibilities: This pivotal role requires a seasoned professional capable of steering global supply strategies, overseeing substantial budgets, and setting up supply chain operations. Responsible to build robust supply chain process at each functional level. Drive’s process implementation in form of SOP (Standard operating process) formulation and approval. Responsible for department level KPI's, SOP's governance. Direct and enhance strategic sourcing initiatives, ensuring alignment with corporate milestones and global procurement objectives. Lead global initiatives focusing on Environmental, Geopolitical, and Social Governance (ESG). Deep understanding of the electronic component materials market, equipment & material supplier base related to OSAT & EMS, and a reputation for integrity and reliability in the industry. Develop and maintain robust relationships with key global suppliers of electronic components, equipment’s, materials. Lead complex million-dollar negotiations covering commercial, technical, intellectual property, and legal aspects to support new factory setups and expansions. Work with internal stakeholders and suppliers to assess, identify, and mitigate risks in the planning and execution of the sourcing strategy Utilize a solid scientific and business mindset to lead SCM and strategic business planning. Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, finance, and production) to optimize inventory levels and production schedules. Identify potential risks to the supply chain (e.g., disruptions, price volatility, geopolitical issues) and develop strategies to mitigate those risks. Requirements: Require 15 to 20 years of leadership experience in IC Packaging and PCBA supply chain roles within the competitive electronics manufacturing sector, including substantial experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets and strategic initiatives across various technologies. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Exposure to be part of Green Field projects in the manufacturing industry is plus Exceptional negotiation and supplier management skills. Demonstrated global leadership capabilities to set clear priorities and inspire teams. Excellent problem-solving skills, leveraging education and statistical analysis. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and business needs. Outstanding collaboration skills, with proficiency in engaging with various departments and stakeholders. Expert in analysing supply chain data to track performance, forecast trends, supply demand gaps and make informed decisions People management experience, Leading and mentoring supply chain teams, setting performance goals, and fostering a collaborative work environment Willingness and availability to travel, and perform other duties as needed.
