Job Title : Chartered Accountant - Financial Controller for a manufacturing co. Location : Coimbatore Qualification : Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant Experience : Minimum 5 years post-qualification as a Financial Controller in a manufacturing company. Key Responsibilities : Financial Planning and Analysis : Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans and strategies. Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Conduct financial forecasting and budgeting to ensure alignment with company goals. Financial Reporting : Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information to management and stakeholders. Compliance : Ensure adherence to accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies. Oversee tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate tax filings and reporting. Budgeting and Forecasting : Lead the development and management of the company’s budget. Monitor actual performance against budget and provide accurate forecasts for future performance. Cash Flow Management : Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the company has sufficient liquidity for operations. Oversee accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections. Internal Controls : Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity. Team Leadership : Supervise, mentor, and develop the accounting team, providing guidance on daily operations. Delegate tasks effectively to ensure team members meet performance expectations. Other Duties : Assist with audits and internal reviews to ensure compliance and identify process improvements. Develop and enforce financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure continuous improvement Skills and Qualifications : Education : Qualified Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant. Experience : Minimum 5+ years of experience in accounting and finance, with a proven track record as a Financial Controller in the manufacturing industry.
