Our software team designs, develops, and integrates mission-critical avionics systems for all the unmanned vehicle systems. You will work in collaboration with electrical and electronics scientists along with software scientists to create firmware(s) that runs at the core of every drone. Don’t just dream about what’s Next – build it! Required Skills Experience in C/C++and python development. Experience in object-oriented design methods. Familiar with building tools such as cmake and make. Experience in Qt and boost frameworks. Strong software design and development skills Experience in designing fault tolerant software. Knowledge of operating systems and networks Desired Skills Strong skills in debugging, performance optimization and unit testing Creative approach to problem solving. Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements. Ability to work independently and in a team, take initiative and communicate effectively. As a Software Research Engineer, you will: Develop exceptionally reliable autonomous software systems Design and implement fault detection and mitigation in software Develop prototypes to prove out key design concepts and quantify technical constraints Own all aspects of software development, including design, testing, and mission integration Focus on continuous learning of new frameworks and technologies Degree and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical or Electronics Engineering 2 to 4years of experience in software development
