Job Description

Logistics Manager- International We are looking for an experienced and proactive Logistics Manager with expertise in both international and domestic logistics operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the end-to-end logistics process, managing the flow of goods, materials, and products both within the country and across international borders. This role requires a balance of operational efficiency, cost management, and compliance with regulations, while maintaining seamless coordination between domestic and international supply chains. Key Responsibilities: End-to-End Logistics Management: Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of both international and domestic logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation of goods. International Supply Chain Coordination: Manage the import/export process, liaising with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and international suppliers to ensure compliance with global trade regulations. Domestic Logistics Operations: Supervise and optimize domestic transportation networks, including inventory management, warehousing, and last-mile delivery processes. Vendor and Supplier Management: Build and maintain relationships with both domestic and international suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure smooth operations and reliable service delivery. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs processes, and domestic transportation laws, including handling import/export documentation and ensuring adherence to safety standards. Cost Management: Monitor logistics costs for both domestic and international shipments, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement strategies to improve efficiency without compromising service quality. Inventory Control: Oversee inventory levels, optimizing stock replenishment and distribution to meet demand both locally and internationally. Data Analysis & Reporting: Provide regular reporting on logistics metrics, including shipment performance, cost analysis, and inventory status, using data to drive continuous improvement. Risk Management & Problem Solving: Identify risks related to logistics operations (such as delays or regulatory issues) and develop solutions to minimize disruptions and mitigate potential impacts. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of logistics coordinators, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and aligned with the company’s goals and objectives. Foster a collaborative environment between domestic and international logistics teams. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including procurement, sales, and customer service, to align logistics operations with business objectives and customer needs. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 12+ years of experience in logistics management, with proven expertise in both international and domestic operations. Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs compliance, and import/export documentation. Experience managing both domestic transportation networks and international logistics operations (air, sea, and land). Expertise in using logistics management software, Transportation Management Systems (TMS) , and ERP systems . Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple
