As an Ecommerce Technical Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving the technical aspects of our e-commerce platform's development and ensuring its success. Responsibilities: Product and Feature Development: ● Lead the successful development of new e-commerce products and features that meet business requirements and user needs. ● Meet project timelines and objectives, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. Team Leadership : ● Lead and guide the team in building scalable and high-performance e-commerce solutions. ● Develop and mentor team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge. Architectural Innovation and Performance: ● Contribute to the architectural design of the ecommerce platform and its products, aiming for scalability, performance, and maintainability. ● Identify and address performance bottlenecks, making necessary optimizations to enhance the platform's speed and reliability. Technical Excellence: ● Uphold high coding and technical standards by actively participating in complex coding tasks. ● Ensure that the development team consistently produces high-quality, efficient, and secure code. Compliance and Security: ● Ensure that all developed products and features comply with security standards and relevant regulations. ● Stay informed about data privacy and compliance requirements to protect customer data and maintain trust. Candidate Profile: ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. ● 6+ years of professional experience in software development. ● Previous experience in a technical team lead or lead developer role . ● Hands-on experience working with or building e-commerce products or platforms. ● Required Technical Skills : Java*, React, ReactNative*, APIs*, Headless CMS. ● Experience in leading and managing a team. Skills: ● Software Development: Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development tools. ● E-commerce Platforms: Familiarity with popular e-commerce platforms and systems like Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce , or custom-built solutions. ● API Integration: Ability to integrate and work with third-party APIs for payment gateways, shipping, and other ecommerce-related services. ● Code Review: Experience in conducting code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards. ● Performance Optimization: Skills in optimizing website and application performance through techniques like caching, load balancing, and efficient code. ● Team Leadership: Ability to lead, inspire, and manage a team of developers. ● Project Management: Proficiency in planning, prioritizing, and executing development projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery. ● Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and make decisions. ● Mentorship and Training: Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to junior developers to enhance their skills and knowledge. ● Interpersonal communication skills: Effective communication with the internal team translating technical concepts into understandable language.
