Job purpose Provide guidance and hands-on approach to integrated social media strategies for a set of key customers for House of Shipping, to help achieve their Marketing and Communications goals. The role includes development of social media campaigns, social media native platform approach using best practices, content generation and optimisation, content management, moderation, publishing and social monitoring, meeting agreed objectives, scope, timelines and budgets. Main tasks and responsibilities Build and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform assessment against target audience, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification. Generate, edit, publish and share daily engaging content that builds meaningful connections and encourages conversation and action. Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the customers’ social content. Integrate social media with larger content marketing efforts ensuring adequate customer journey mapping and development of lead magnets respective to identified customer lifecycle stages. Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for respective community. Create editorial calendars, identify key events, milestones, observances to ensure consistency and increase of social share of voice and positive social sentiment. Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing appropriate social data/metrics, insights and best practices, and providing optimization recommendations. Collaborate with other departments (customer support, sales etc) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions. Work with performance team to develop ROI driven social media advertising campaigns (brand, lead generation). Education requirements Bachelor’s degree in marketing, social media, digital marketing, or related field. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Social Media and Content Marketing. Background and experience Background and proven working experience in social media marketing or digital media. Proven social analytics tools knowledge. Adequate knowledge of CMS, Marketing Automation, CRO and SEO. Shipping, maritime and logistics industry expertise is a plus. Competencies and skills Excellent knowledge in social media design principles and algorithms. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Social media tools (publishing, listening, design).
