Candidates applying for Associate position are expected to have at least 3 years of relevant work experience at a venture capital/private equity/investment banking/family office organization, and must have India investing experience.This is a full-time on-site role for an Investment Analyst at AWE Funds in Gurugram (Mumbai/ Benguluru are options as well). The individual should enjoy working with a small, globally distributed team and can manage working independently on crucial tasks. We are highly collaborative and move fast. The candidate should be able to:Analyze financial and company data, and communicate the insights to managementPerform company and market researchGenerate emerging sector-related ideas, tracking market data and identifying trendsScreen potential investment candidates and evaluating pitchesDevelop a complete understanding of investment target by evaluating its market opportunity, competition, product, sales and growth, operations, financial statements and projections, management strength, equity needs, and capital structureLead due diligence on new investmentsPrepare written materials, including investment memorandaHelp portfolio companies aggregate their dataInvestor communications, including quarterly, newsletters and annual reportsManage the knowledge baseManage compliance and monthly/quarterly reporting in portfolio companiesManage firms social media handles and drive engagement; assist senior team in writing articlesExternal communications and other tasks as required in the course of businessQualifications(For Associates / Senior Associates - 3+ years work experience in venture capital/private equity/investment banking/family office management.)Strong Analytical Skills and Financial Modeling abilitiesBackground in FinanceExcellent quantitative and qualitative analysis skillsGood communication skills in English and Hindi, both spoken and writtenExperience across the deal cycle - deal origination, execution, portfolio management and exit transaction.Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to get things done.General curiosity and love of learning.Superior work ethic and attention to detail.Must be a self starterBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Technology or related fieldPost Graduate/professional qualification preferred, including MBA/CA/CFABenefitsBe part of an exceptional team building a unique and path breaking fund with like-minded pioneers.Remote, work from home supported, open environment with flexible work optionsLearning and opportunities for advancementLOCATION: Delhi NCR/Mumbai/Bengaluru + ( USA will be considered case by case).REMUNERATION: Industry competitive
