The successful candidate will support the “Price Engine” tool, which is currently undergoing a migration to international markets. This role involves taking existing code built for the US system and rebuilding it piece by piece for international use.Key Responsibilities: Code Migration : Rebuild and adapt the “Price Engine” tool for international markets. Development : Write, test, and deliver high-quality code to production. Collaboration : Participate in daily stand-ups and work closely with team members to ensure smooth project progress. Testing : Develop and execute JUnit test cases to ensure code quality and performance. Performance Tuning : Optimize backend APIs and database interactions for improved performance.Required Skills: Java Spring Boot : Extensive hands-on experience with backend API development, database interactions, Kafka integration, performance tuning, and JUnit test cases. NoSQL Databases : Proficiency in working with CosmosDB/Cassandra, including asynchronous calls and database optimization. Kubernetes/Docker : Experience with Kubernetes cloud deployments and Docker containerization. Kafka : Strong experience in producing, consuming, and scaling Kafka. GCP Cloud : Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as GCS, BigQuery, DataProc clusters, and Cloud SDK.Preferred Qualifications: Experience with international code migration projects. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
