You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive content strategies that align with client goals, enhance brand identity, and foster engagement and growth. You will also play a crucial role in leading and mentoring a team of content professionals, ensuring the creation of high-quality, engaging content across various platforms. Key Responsibilities: Content Strategy & Planning: Develop clear and engaging content strategies and plans that are consistent with clients' brand image and address both business goals and consumer needs. Analyse content marketing data to identify trends and anticipate consumer needs. Perform content audits to assess how well existing content is performing. Perform content gap analyses to determine what type of content is missing and what is needed. Oversee the production of high-quality, engaging content across various formats (articles, blogs, white papers, scripts, etc.). Team Leadership & Management: Manage, direct, and delegate the team of in-house and freelance strategists. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of content creators, including writers, editors, freelancers, and vendors. Cultivate a collaborative and innovative environment. Editorial & Content Guidelines: Create, adjust, and manage the editorial calendar. Establish style guides that specify the writing style and tone needed to create engaging content. Maintain consistency in content style, quality, and tone of voice. Stakeholder Engagement & Market Research: Lead content workshops for brands and develop a solid understanding of the target audience through online and traditional market research. Collaborate with stakeholders to pitch for new business and create impactful content that drives growth. Data Analysis & Optimization: Track and analyze content performance metrics. Use insights from reports to optimize content and improve ROI. Ensure adherence to SEO best practices for long-term traffic growth. Data & Project Management: Manage and maintain data related to content performance, team efficiency, and contractual commitments. Ensure all content is consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice. Requirements: Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies in a digital marketing agency environment. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative and creative environment. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Deep understanding of content marketing trends, best practices, and analytics. Proficiency in SEO and content optimization techniques. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Qualifications: Experience: 6-8 years of experience in content creation, management, and strategy, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Skills: Strong understanding of content marketing principles, SEO and digital marketing. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Some experience with content strategy is always a good thing. Leadership: The ability to lead and inspire a team. Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously. Tools: Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
