Greetings from HCL Technologies...!Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lab Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in hardware experience, with expertise in rack and stack of servers, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of equipments in a lab environment.Key Responsibilities:Design and build complex system-level testbeds, and maintain lab space, tools, and infrastructure.Coordinate interactions between labs and engineering teams.Anticipate and resolve problems by applying knowledge and skills, escalating design, manufacturing, and product test issues to other team members when necessary.Generate implementation plans and provide technical expertise and guidance during deployment activities.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.Experience with standard networking protocols and various cabling and interconnect technologies (e.g., fiber or copper).8+ years of technical experience within the Information Technology field in labsExperience with Linux.Preferred Qualifications:Understanding of network design, protocols, and troubleshooting.Overall understanding of computer systems: physical, functional, logical, mechanical, electrical, software, thermal, etc.Ability to read and modify code in Python or scripting language of your choice.Excellent time management skills with an ability to manage constant priority changes and deadlines.Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.Required Skills:OS installation, Servers Rack & StackLinuxNetworking & TroubleshootingDebugging/Troubleshooting & Failure Diagnosis
