A knack for creating schedules and the ability to learn quickly will set you up for success in this dynamic position.Outcomes and AccomplishmentsAs an Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager – Finance and Accounts, your responsibilities will include:Managing end-to-end accounting workstreams, including general ledger accounting, revenuerecognition, tracking receivables and aging, and fixed assets accounting.Possessing a strong understanding of US GAAP principles and their application in financial reporting and compliance, including knowledge of ASC 842 and lease accounting standards.Reviewing month-end close activities, such as bank reconciliations, prepaid and provision entries, inward remittances, and exchange fluctuations.Assisting the reporting manager in preparing MIS reports for senior management, including financial performance reviews, analytical reports, and variance/trend analyses.Preparing and reviewing monthly profit and loss statements, balance sheets, rolling weekly cashforecasts, and variance analyses.Handling reconciliations of inter-company transactions, inter-company settlements, balance sheetaccounts, profit and loss items, and FX gains/losses, including revaluation.Leading accounts payable and payment processing reviews, accounts receivable aging and receiptstracking, and fixed asset capitalization and retirement within the entity’s ERP system.Working knowledge and hands on experience in the monthly, quarterly, fiscal and financial year close process.Developing, implementing, and maintaining systems, procedures, policies, and SOPs at the legal entity level.Preparing funding reconciliations and supporting cash flow management for business operations.Participating in accounting and reporting functions for U.S. operations.Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including shared services in the U.S. and Canada, and cross-functional teams across regions (UK, APAC, EMEA), as well as audit teams.Ensuring timely compliance with tax payments and regulatory requirements in coordination with the reporting manager and finance team, while providing necessary information for tax return submissions.Supporting internal and statutory audits by preparing monthly/yearly schedules, ensuring compliance, and liaising with group, internal, and statutory auditors to provide timely and accurate information.Compliances and Audit:Working with the respective geographies’ controllership team for timely and accurate accounting,reporting, reconciliation and audit support.Finalization of annual accounts and preparation of Company's financial statements in compliance with applicable GAAP and Accounting Policies and monthly financial statements.Knowledge of Blackline reconciliations.Knowledge of ON Base process of Purchase order creation and approvalsBasic knowledge of Taxes.What You Bring:A strong team player who thrives in collaborative environments.A qualified CA, CA Inter, MBA, or finance professional with 8+ years of experience in GL, RTR, or controllership roles.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across teams.An energetic and driven individual with a passion for pushing boundaries to achieve outstanding results.Proven ability to manage functions and responsibilities with minimal supervision.Preferably from the service industry, with a focus on ITES, media, entertainment, or e-commerce sectors.Experience in Big 4 Audit firms or MNCs will be an added advantage.Proficiency in AP, AR, GL accounting, auditing, and tools such as SAP, ON Base, BPC Reports, and Blackline.BenefitsYou will be part of a large international and culturally diverse teamYou will have the opportunity to make an impact for the organization, and for the customersYou will have opportunities to further grow your skills and grow within the companyYou will have the opportunity to expand your professional networkEqual Employment:Deluxe is committed to inclusivity, fostering an environment where every employee feels comfortable bringing their full selves to work.
