Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and strategic VP – Sales & Marketing to lead our client's sales and marketing teams in expanding and promoting Process Automation, Electrical, Instrumentation, and IIOT solutions across diverse process industries in India & abroad. The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding of PLC, DCS, and process instrumentation and a strong ability to drive business growth while enhancing brand visibility. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Growth: Drive direct business growth and achieve year-on-year revenue targets with full P&L responsibility. Develop and execute sales strategies to expand market share in industrial process automation. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across target industries. Lead and mentor the national sales team to achieve aggressive sales goals. Conduct regular customer meetings and finalizations across India, requiring extensive travel. Add-on complementary business verticals year on year. Marketing Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies for process automation solutions across multiple industries. Align marketing campaigns with business goals, ensuring they resonate with decision-makers in highly technical sectors. Leverage deep knowledge of PLC, DCS, and process instrumentation to design effective marketing strategies. Create impactful marketing materials highlighting technical benefits and real-world applications. Organize and participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and webinars to increase brand visibility. Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends and opportunities in industrial automation. Monitor competitor activities and develop strategies to differentiate our solutions in the market. Gather and analyze customer feedback to continuously improve marketing strategies and customer experience. Collaboration & Leadership: Work closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams to ensure marketing messages align with product capabilities. Support the sales team with technical content, presentations, and tools for effective customer engagement. Lead and mentor a high-performing sales & marketing team, equipping them with cutting-edge knowledge and tools. Provide regular performance reports to leadership, tracking the impact of marketing and sales efforts. Qualifications & Skills Experience: 18–22 years of experience in sales & marketing within Process Automation, Industrial Automation, or Engineering Technologies. Strong expertise in PLC, DCS, Electrical Systems, and Process Instrumentation. Proven track record of driving marketing campaigns in B2B environments , particularly in regulated industries like Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Ethanol & Distillery. Experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating across departments to drive business success. Long-term commitment to the company, as this is a key leadership position. Good health condition to support extensive travel for business growth. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering. MBA in Marketing, Business, or a related field (preferred). Certifications in Digital Marketing, Industrial Automation, or Process Control (added advantage).
