Key Responsibilities: Responsible for ensuring the overall quality of the overall lending portfolio by planning and directing all aspects of credit risk. Establishing the framework for risk management activities and driving consistent standards across the organization. Identify credit risk; assess company effectiveness in managing these risks through appropriate internal controls; and build awareness of the business implications of credit risk, and how to manage credit risk. Improve the existing Risk Assessment model as well framework including the Credit Assessment process Establish and manage all departmental policies and procedures Provide regular review and analysis of portfolio trends to detect deterioration in portfolio quality. This includes the monitoring and control of the credit portfolio by ensuring that all credit exposure is properly approved, reported and reviewed. Provide analysis and make recommendations for allocations quarterly Develop framework for Credit Policy, risk appetite and risk limits Manage/devise risk policies in consonance with evolving regulatory framework. Develop relationship with other lending institutions. Skills required: Analytical reasoning data analysis leadership skills business acumen decision making, credit appraisal and credit monitoring Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work in teams Qualification: MBA in Finance/CA/CFA with relevant experience. Experience: 10 to 12 years in the Banking/Financial Services sectors Location: Goa
