Job responsibilities This role will be part of an Xceedance team in India which is fully integrated into the capital management vertical of a global specialty insurance group and works across all its sub-verticals. In addition to business-as-usual activities such as calculating regulatory capital and guiding business plans / reinsurance purchase etc., the team also supports an ongoing initiative to implement a global capital model covering all of client group’s entities across different geographies. Key responsibilities Contribute to projects across multiple areas of capital modelling, including model development, parametrization, validation, model runs, regulatory reporting, etc. Develop subject matter expertise in one or more capital modelling areas. Optimize own productivity and quality to efficiently deliver multiple tasks to different stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and guide IT resource(s) to execute those. Works collaboratively within Actuarial & Analytics team to help build capabilities. Experience & Qualifications 2 to 5 years of experience in P&C/General Insurance data analytics and modelling. Experience in P&C/General Insurance data analytics, Statistics/Stochastic Modelling, Risk Modelling, Model Risk Management, Regulatory Reporting, Capital Modelling/Management, Process Transformation/Automation. Good understanding of the P&C lines of business. Good understanding of Statistics and Risk modelling. Experience in/exposure to data and analytics in building and validating models would be preferable. Ability to effectively manage project(s) and multiple activities and changing priorities.
