Job Description – General Manager Sales – Pan India (Mono Carton Box) Position: General Manager – Sales (Pan India) Industry: Packaging / Printing / FMCG / Manufacturing (Mono Carton Boxes) Location: Pan India HQ : Bangalore Experience: 15+ years in Sales & Business Development (preferably in Mono Carton Boxes, Packaging, Printing, or Corrugated Boxes industry) Qualification: MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing or a related field Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced General Manager – Sales to lead and expand our Mono Carton Box business across India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for strategizing, developing, and executing sales operations , driving business growth, expanding market share, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role demands strong leadership, business development expertise, and an in-depth understanding of the packaging industry, particularly in FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Food & Beverages, and Consumer Goods sectors . Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Strategy & Business Development Develop and implement a Pan-India sales strategy to increase revenue and market penetration. Identify new business opportunities and key clients in FMCG, Pharma, Food & Beverages, and other industries. Establish strong B2B relationships with large-scale manufacturers and corporate clients. Drive customized packaging solutions for different industries based on market needs. 2. Channel & Distribution Management Build and expand a strong distributor and dealer network across major cities and industrial zones. Optimize sales and supply chain operations to ensure efficient product distribution. Work closely with converters, printers, and packaging partners to strengthen market reach. Develop and execute competitive pricing strategies . 3. Key Account Management & Customer Retention Maintain long-term partnerships with existing and new clients to ensure recurring business. Provide tailored packaging solutions to meet customer requirements and industry standards. Work closely with R&D and production teams to ensure timely delivery and quality standards. Resolve customer issues efficiently, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction . 4. Team Leadership & Performance Management Lead and manage a Pan-India sales team , ensuring high motivation and productivity. Set KPIs, sales targets, and performance benchmarks for regional teams. Conduct training programs to enhance sales team knowledge on packaging trends, products, and negotiation skills. 5. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging packaging technologies . Conduct market research and data analysis to refine sales strategies. Identify growth opportunities in eco-friendly and sustainable packaging solutions. 6. Reporting & Sales Forecasting Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports for senior management. Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management. Use CRM and data analytics tools to track performance and optimize sales strategies. Key Skills & Competencies: ✔ Proven track record in Pan-India B2B sales & business development (preferably in Mono Carton Box or Packaging industry). ✔ Strong experience in institutional sales, channel management, and corporate partnerships . ✔ Expertise in negotiation, communication, and networking with large industrial clients. ✔ Deep knowledge of packaging industry trends, printing technologies, and raw materials . ✔ Ability to drive market expansion, revenue growth, and strategic partnerships . ✔ Data-driven approach with proficiency in CRM and sales analytics tools .
