The firm serves mid-market companies and institutional investors worldwide from its offices in London, New York, Berlin, Sao Paolo and India.The RoleAs a Director – Industrials & Manufacturing, you will play a critical role in driving M&A deal origination and execution in India. You will leverage your deep industry expertise, strong buyer relationships, and transaction execution capabilities to manage and close deals successfully. Key Responsibilities: Deal Origination & Execution: Lead end-to-end M&A transactions, with a focus on sell-side mandates for mid-market Industrials & Manufacturing companies. Develop pitch materials, Information Memorandums, and financial models. Conduct market mapping, target identification, and acquirer screening. Drive buyer and investor engagement, including organizing management meetings and roadshows. Manage due diligence, legal negotiations, and transaction documentation. Client & Investor Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with strategic buyers, PE/VC funds, and institutional investors. Negotiate deal structures, offers, and key transaction terms. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing strategic insights on valuation, market positioning, and growth opportunities. Leadership & Team Management: Lead multiple transaction teams simultaneously, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality outcomes. Train and mentor junior team members. Continuously refine and implement best practices in deal execution and origination. Key Requirements: Experience: 10+ years of M&A experience, with a strong focus on Industrials & Manufacturing. Proven track record of successfully originating and executing deals in the sector. Strong relationships with Indian and global strategic buyers, PE/VC funds, and financial institutions. Experience managing complex transactions, from due diligence to legal closure. Skills & Attributes: Deep understanding of corporate finance, financial modeling, and valuation techniques. Strong negotiation skills and ability to structure transactions effectively. Excellent communication and relationship management skills. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple mandates independently. Preferred Qualifications: MBA or CA with a strong finance background. Experience working in investment banking, corporate M&A, or private equity. Fluency in English; knowledge of regional Indian languages is a plus.
