Rheonics, a global industrial automation company specializing in the manufacture of viscosity and density measurement sensors, has an opening for a Mechatronics or Mechanic Engineer to be part of its Global Working Team. Rheonics technical and operations team is based in multiple locations worldwide and uses English as the common language internally.The applicant should have good English written/verbal and communication skills and should be eager to learn and keep up with the everyday innovations of the company and in the industry, since we are always updating our products to help our customers better meet their goals.ROLEResearch and prepare documents on Rheonics products for Rheonics knowledge base. This includes application articles, web pages, support videos, etc.Create and update mechanical drawings and 3D models of Rheonics products. Propose and develop new industrial solutions and accessories by working with the product development and application engineering teamCreate and update manuals, brochures and technical articles of Rheonics productsWork on product’s launch working with engineering, support, and media team.Work with customers to help them with integration, installation, data analysis, application-oriented recommendations, and related support tasks. Prepare and hold presentations on sensors, control systems, and application cases to train customers and other team membersStay up to date with new features of Rheonics software, hardware, and firmwareCommunicate well internally and externally and proactively solve issues. Demonstrate a high level of organization to collect data, do root cause analysis and propose solutionsQualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical or similar fieldWork experience in industry, industrial instrumentation, metrology, sensors or industrial equipments testing, installation, commissioning and/or maintananceStrong oral, writing and documenting skills to share informationWork experience creating mechanical designs, drawings, prototyping and/or manufacturing techniquesFluent in English – written and verbalHands-on experience using 3D CAD software like SolidEdge, Solidworks, Inventor, Fusion 360 and/or AutoCAD for design, simulation and/or renderingDesirableProgramming knowledge using Python, C++, Matlab, etcExperience with rendering tools and animation softwareKnowledge of sensor and communication protocols/interfaces: Modbus, RS232, RS485, ethernet, 4-20 mAKnowledge of web page programmingKnowledge of Big Data, Machine Learning, IoT, etc. Familiarity with Atlassian tools; Jira and Confluence, and Adobe Program Family.Important: If you have these qualifications, and think you will be a great addition to our team, send your resume in English with a cover letter also in English to latam@
