Their services include Business, Individual, State & Local tax, R&D Tax Credit, as well as International and Private Client servicesAs a Tax Associate Manager in our Withum India office, you'll be reporting to the Tax Managers in the Withum India office and collaborating with the US Tax Services Group on various tax engagements. You'll also have the opportunity to mentor and train tax staff. This role will be focused on tax-exempt organization state tax registrations and filings as well as assisting with the regular exempt organizations tax team compliance including Forms 990, 1065 and 1120 C.Withum’s brand is a reflection of our people, our culture and our strength. Managing the work schedule for non-profit organizations, understanding the main Form 990 and its reporting structure, and possessing basic knowledge of the related 990 schedules.Reviewing the 12 sectionsof Form 990's main form.Reviewing deadlines, extensions and penalties pertaining to Form 990 and the purpose of the 16 schedules associated with Form 990.Reviewing the Implications to Form 990 fromthe Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.Manage end-to-end tax compliance. Responsible for completing all assigned tasks accurately and within the defined processing time frame.Reviewing the Form 990 Extensively like Importance of non-profit sector, Purpose of Form 990, Who must file, Form 990series, Organizations not required to file, accounting periods, Deadline and extensions, Penalties for failure to file.Reviewing the Implications for Tax-Exempt Organization & Calculation of Unrelated Business Income Tax (UBIT}.Reviewing 990 Main forms and 16 schedules and Common errors.Reviewing the Audit Financials like Income statement and Balance sheet.
