Purpose of the position:The Business Manager is responsible for the management of the packaged industrial gases products portfolio in designated geography to execute strategic intent and meet financial targets.Principal responsibilities:Manage all existing customer accounts in assigned territory thru the reportersDirectly accountable for delivering sales targets in the assigned territoryDirectly manage the Key accounts & have direct access to key stakeholders of ALL accountsEnsure timely submission of Territorial Reports, Volume Trends, Price Trends & drive Sales & Mktg InitiativesMaintain good networking within the various departments for cross-functional supportDrive SAFETY initiatives among the State Govt Officials thru presentations /meetingsManage the Key accounts assigned to ensure long term profitability and growthDevelop Accountability Culture thru weekly | monthly | Quarterly Review & Reward systemEnsure Timely submissions of ALL MIS reportsExecute as well as Drive various SAFETY programs & other Customer Engagement activitiesCoordinate with plant/distribution/support teams to ensure timely deliveries to customersEnsure timely collection of payments from all customers in the territoryAddress customer complaints promptly and ensure timely redressalGenerate new large/strategic leads and work to convert the leads to business winsGenerate new business ideas for growth for the BUCollect and report market intelligence information related toCompetitor actions in marketplaceNew market trendsNew product OpportunitiesMeet the annual KPI targets set forRevenueProduct PriceDSONew WinsCustomer VisitsCylinder ManagementSafetyRequired key skills (functional/technical):Financial skills with analytical approach – the packaged gases business “ sales , business development,Direct/Channel sales – Direct sales preferredKnowledge of “ make “and different products within industrial gases PGP portfolioCommunications skills (effective presentation, negotiation, conflict resolution)Strong change management leadership, ability to transform businessLanguage Skills – Fluent in both written and spoken Kannada / Hindi / English and local language MustRequired qualifications/experience:Degree in Science / EngineeringDiploma/ Management degree preferredTypically, 5-7 years’ experience in packaged gases Sales, Business development, Healthcare salesPrior Product Management and Strategy Planning preferred.Travel and relocation flexibility
