Department/Function: Quality Control - Molecular Biology and Genomics3. Reporting Structure: Reports to: Quality Control4. Role Summary:QC Trainee is responsible for performing activities in Molecular Biology lab such as DNA extraction, quantitation, PCR, documentation and raw data analysis as per requirement. To understand and follow the standard operating/testing procedures. Stay up to date on Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and Molecular Biology assays required in Cell and Gene Therapy.5. Key Responsibilities:Perform droplet digital PCR and other molecular assays for various CAR-T products.Operation and maintenance of Lab Equipment/Instruments in Molecular Biology Lab I and II.Follow GMP practices, ensure data integrity, adhere to quality SOPs, maintain logs, inventory tracking, documentation, filing, etc. Preparation and revision of documents.Upkeep of reconciliation record related to Molecular Biology activities.Contribute to release of RM, PM, and consumables as and when required.Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the operating network to support requirement towards QC release assays to ensure product quality. 6. Primary Objectives:To perform Molecular Biology assays in QC and document the results to the reporting manager.To perform documentation as per Good Documentation Practices.To inform any discrepancy identified in QC labs to the reporting manager immediately.To understand and support sample management activities in QC.7.
