As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented District Manager to lead and manage our Maintenance Department, ensuring that our portfolio of properties maintains the highest standards of care and operational excellence.Position Overview:We are looking for an experienced District Manager to take charge of our Maintenance Department and oversee the maintenance operations across a district of properties. This leadership role demands an individual with strong organizational skills, a deep understanding of property maintenance, and the ability to manage a diverse team. As a District Manager, you will ensure that maintenance activities are carried out effectively, efficiently, and to the highest standards, while delivering exceptional service to both tenants and property owners.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage the maintenance operations for a large portfolio of residential properties across the district.Supervise and support a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and fostering a positive, productive work environment.Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure the long-term upkeep of properties, while managing emergency repairs as needed.Collaborate with property managers, tenants, and contractors to deliver timely and cost-effective maintenance solutions.Ensure all operations comply with industry safety regulations and standards.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, and external service providers.Monitor and report on key performance metrics to senior management, ensuring continual improvements.Coach, mentor, and develop team members to ensure high-quality work and personal growth.Qualifications:Proven experience in property management, facilities maintenance, or a related field, with a strong emphasis on leadership.Solid understanding of maintenance processes, property management software, and industry safety standards.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Strong ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Effective problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.Relevant certifications or training in property maintenance (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is an asset.Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.What We Offer:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.The chance to work with the most influential property management company in Canada.A supportive, collaborative work environment.
