Job Description:We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer with 1+ years of professional experience to join our team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a strong passion for design, an eye for detail, and the ability to work on diverse projects including residential and commercial spaces. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects / designers, and project managers to bring innovative design concepts to life.Key Responsibilities:Design Conceptualization: Develop creative and functional design concepts for various spaces in line with client requirements, budget, and project timelines.Space Planning: Plan and design layouts that optimize space usage while maintaining aesthetics, functionality, and safety standards.Material Selection: Select and source appropriate materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories that align with the design vision.Client Interaction: Meet with clients to understand their design preferences, budget, and requirements, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.3D Visualizations & Drawings: Create detailed 2D and 3D design in SketchUp, CAD drawings, and presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.Project Management: Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and according to design specifications.Site Supervision: Regularly visit project sites to monitor progress, as neededTrend Awareness: Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, technologies, and sustainable practices to bring fresh and modern ideas to projects.Required Skills & Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of completed residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, contractors, and team members.Project Management: Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail in design aesthetics, space planning, and material selection.Problem-Solving: Ability to think creatively and solve design and construction-related challenges on-site.Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changes in project scope or client preferences.Salary:Competitive salary based on experience and portfolio.
