The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise in video editing, and a proven track record in managing a team to deliver high-quality video content.Responsibilities:Manage and supervise a team of video editors, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of video for Pinkvilla’s social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, Instagram, etc.Strong proficiency in Excel, with a strong grasp of production logistics, resource allocation, and team management to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills, leading large-scale projects while managing budgets & assets, and a team video editors, DOPs & Producers etc.to ensure seamless execution.Oversee and manage high-volume video production, including static reels, shoot-based reels, AI, animation videos, explainer videos, podcasts, and DVCs, ensuring efficient production and content optimization.Act as a proactive and self-motivated leader, independently driving projects while collaborating with Creative Producers, Hosts, Dops, Social team and other cross functional teams & stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations to achieve creative and operational goals. Maintain meticulous attention to detail, ensuring rigorous quality control (QC) processes at scale to uphold the highest production standards.Allocate tasks and projects to the editing team based on priorities, deadlines, and skill sets.Oversee the entire post-production process, from initial editing to final product delivery, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.Collaborate closely with Creative Producers, Hosts, DoPs, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and expectations.Review and provide feedback on edited content to maintain consistency, accuracy, and quality.Troubleshoot technical issues and provide guidance and support to the editing team as needed.Stay updated with industry trends, new editing techniques, and software advancements to enhance the team's capabilities and workflow efficiency.Manage resources effectively, including equipment, software, and personnel, to optimize productivity and meet project goals.Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging creativity, innovation, and professional growth within the teamRequirements:Proven experience of 8+ years in video editing, with a focus on managing post-production processes and teams.Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and manage a team effectively.Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.In-depth knowledge of video formats, codecs, and various delivery platforms.Problem-solving aptitude and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.A creative mindset with an eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through video content.Bachelor’s degree in film production, media studies, or a related field is preferred.Portfolio or examples of previous work showcasing editing skills and managerial experience.
