QA & Testing Analyst Position Overview: The QA & Testing Analyst will act as a member of our PBM Technology QA Team and will provide manual and automated testing across multiple computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server). You will collaborate with engineers to understand risks and communicate found issues, work within cross-functional feature teams, and collaborate closely with engineers, designers, product managers and other QA Engineers. Within this role you will assist in the implementation of QA software and systems and the development of effective testing plans through consultation with clients and IT technical staff Responsibilities: Write test strategy and test case documents derived from user stories for one or more features. Test cases should include positive and negative scenarios, test data setup/configuration and expected results. Contribute to other testing activities such as stress, load, and performance testing where required. Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Selenium Java based test framework components as part of framework improvement and enhancement. Provide estimates for testing effort based user stories as part of sprint planning. Contribute and participate in other Agile scrum activities such as daily standups, backlog grooming, demos, and retrospectives. Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation Able to work on projects individually and directly with clients. Qualifications Required Skills: Testing and triaging of defects and issues. Knowledge of defect tracking / task tools such as Jira and Confluence. Knowledge of build automation and deployment tools such as Jenkins as well as source code repository tools such as Git. Familiarity with most of the following technologies- JAVA, ReactJS Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Strong influencing / negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal / relationship skills. Experience within Agile development environment (Sprint planning, demos and retrospectives, and other sprint ceremonies). Familiarity with modern delivery practices such as continuous integration, behavior/test driven development, and specification by example. Required Experience & Education: 1-3 years of experience Experience with an onshore / offshore model. Proven experience with testing utilizing test automation, selenium, sauce labs College degree (Bachelor) in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience. Desired Experience: Healthcare experience including Disease Management Location & Hours of Work: Full-time position, working 40 hours per week.
