Job Description

Role: Cinema Manager Location: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Trissur We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Cinema Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cinema. The ideal candidate will ensure outstanding customer service, efficient management of staff, and smooth running of all cinema operations, including ticket sales, concessions, and maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operations Management Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cinema, ensuring all departments function smoothly. Maintain high operational standards in cleanliness, safety, and customer service. Manage stock levels of concessions and retail items, ensuring availability and minimizing waste. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations. 2. Staff Management Recruit, train, and manage cinema staff, ensuring a high level of performance. Create staff schedules and assign duties to maintain operational efficiency. Motivate and support employees to provide exceptional customer service. Handle staff grievances and disciplinary actions in coordination with HR. 3. Customer Experience & Sales Ensure excellent customer service by training staff and handling escalated customer complaints. Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction. Drive sales through promotions, upselling strategies, and local marketing initiatives. Oversee loyalty programs and special screenings to attract and retain customers. 4. Financial & Administrative Duties Manage cinema budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability. Oversee cash handling, daily revenue reconciliation, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding financial transactions. 5. Technical & Facility Management Oversee cinema equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and troubleshooting issues. Coordinate with vendors for repairs, security, and supply deliveries. Ensure all film screenings run smoothly, resolving any technical issues promptly. Requirements: Proven experience in cinema/theater management, hospitality, or retail industry. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Proficiency in ticketing and POS systems is a plus.
