Job Title: National Head – Solar Sales Division Department: Solar Sales Experience: 10+ years in Sales (Corporate & Distribution) Job Overview: The National Head – Solar Sales Division will be responsible for leading and driving the entire solar sales division, overseeing corporate sales and distribution sales. The candidate will be responsible for formulating and executing sales strategies, expanding market reach, and ensuring revenue growth in alignment with business goals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Business Development: Develop and implement sales strategies for corporate clients and distribution partners across India. Identify and develop new business opportunities in the solar energy market, including EPC projects, rooftop solar, and solar product sales. Drive revenue growth by acquiring and managing large-scale corporate accounts, government tenders, and channel partners. Develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including distributors, dealers, channel partners, and corporate clients. 2. Distribution & Channel Sales: Build and expand a strong distribution network across different regions. Set up, monitor, and support dealers, distributors, and channel partners to achieve sales targets. Conduct regular training programs for channel partners and sales teams to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness. 3. Market Expansion & Strategy: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends and opportunities. Drive B2B and B2C sales initiatives, ensuring maximum market penetration. Develop pricing strategies, sales forecasts, and business expansion plans. 4. Team Leadership & Management: Lead, train, and mentor the national sales team, including regional heads and key account managers. Set sales targets, track performance, and implement corrective actions when needed. Foster a high-performance sales culture within the organization. 5. Key Account & Relationship Management: Manage and nurture relationships with large corporate clients, industrial customers, and government bodies. Work closely with project teams to ensure smooth execution of large corporate solar projects. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows. 6. Financial & Performance Management: Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability. Prepare periodic sales reports, performance metrics, and revenue forecasts for senior management. Optimize the sales process to improve efficiency and conversion rates. Key Requirements: 1. Experience & Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in solar sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role handling both corporate and distribution sales. Proven track record of driving B2B and B2C solar sales, achieving revenue growth, and building distribution networks. 2. Skills & Competencies: Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive results. Excellent business acumen, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills. In-depth understanding of the solar industry, government policies, and market trends. Strong networking skills with industry players, government bodies, and corporate clients. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to travel extensively across India
