Fire & Safety Head- Full-Time- Noida Job Title: Fire & Safety Head Job Type: Full-Time Location: Noida Experience: 9-15 Years Job Description: Key Responsibilities of Fire and Safety: 1.Strategic Leadership: *Develop and implement a comprehensive fire safety and risk management strategy for the organization. *Set long-term goals and objectives for the fire and safety department, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy. *Lead the creation of policies and standards for fire safety, risk assessment, and emergency preparedness across the organization. 2.Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management: *Ensure compliance with all local, state, federal, and international safety regulations, relevant standards. *Oversee the development and implementation of risk management strategies aimed at reducing potential hazards and preventing incidents. *Stay updated on evolving fire safety and regulatory trends and adjust policies accordingly to maintain compliance and minimize risks. 3.Emergency Response and Crisis Management: *Lead the organization’s emergency response strategy, including fire evacuations, natural disaster protocols, and emergency medical procedures. *Oversee the coordination of emergency drills, training, and simulations, ensuring all staff are well-prepared for potential crises. *Act as the chief decision-maker during significant fire and safety incidents, ensuring an effective and coordinated response. 4.Team Leadership and Development: *Lead and manage the Fire and Safety department, setting performance expectations and fostering a culture of safety and compliance. *Provide guidance and mentorship to department heads and staff, ensuring their development and growth within the company. *Build and maintain high-performing teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration with other departments, particularly HR, Operations, and Facilities. 5.Safety Culture and Employee Engagement: *Champion a culture of safety at all levels of the organization, promoting the importance of fire safety and personal well-being. *Regularly communicate the organization’s safety goals, objectives, and achievements to employees, encouraging their participation in safety initiatives. *Ensure that safety training programs are implemented consistently and are relevant to the employees’ job functions. *Prepare and present regular reports on fire safety and risk management activities to the executive team, highlighting progress, challenges, and key performance indicators. 6.Continuous Improvement and Innovation: *Drive innovation in fire safety technologies, processes, and systems to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of safety measures. *Foster a continuous improvement mind-set, identifying opportunities for enhancing safety protocols, fire prevention strategies, and emergency response plans. *Oversee the analysis of incidents, near misses, and audits, recommending corrective actions and process improvements. cident Investigation and Reporting: *Lead investigations of fire-related incidents or safety violations, determining root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. *Maintain detailed records of incidents, findings, and resolutions, ensuring that all legal and regulatory requirements are met.
