Position Overview We are a seed-funded startup focused on using state-of-the-art AI technologies to revolutionize the credit industry. Our team consists of experts in machine learning and software engineers who have worked at top-tier US tech companies like Apple, Amazon, etc , and we are passionate about using AI to improve access to credit information for businesses. We are seeking a Product Manager, Data Strategy and Acquisition with a strong background in financial services, data integration, and B2B SAAS. This role is ideal for a data-savvy individual who will lead the strategy, sourcing, and integration of data to power innovative credit risk analysis and supply chain intelligence solutions. Reporting directly to the Founders, you will play a key role in shaping how our products leverage high-quality, diverse data sources to deliver unparalleled insights to our customers. Key Responsibilities Data Strategy and Sourcing: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for acquiring and integrating diverse data sources to enhance credit risk analysis and supply chain intelligence capabilities. Identify and evaluate potential data partnerships and acquisition opportunities to address market needs and gaps. Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to understand emerging trends, data regulations, and best practices in data acquisition for the financial services sector. Assess the availability, quality, and utility of public, private, and third-party data sources relevant to our mission. Data Integration and Utilization: Collaborate with engineering teams to define data integration requirements and ensure smooth ingestion and management of data pipelines. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and business development teams to ensure acquired data aligns with product vision and user needs. Engage with customers and stakeholders to understand data-driven challenges and refine data acquisition priorities. Go-to-Market Strategy: Support go-to-market strategies by providing insights into how data enhances product features and customer value propositions. Partner with sales and marketing teams to communicate the value of our data-driven solutions to prospective customers. Performance Metrics and Insights: Define and monitor key metrics to measure the impact of data sources on product performance and user value. Drive continuous improvement in data acquisition and utilization through a feedback-driven, iterative approach. Qualifications Extensive experience (2+ years) in product management with a strong focus on data acquisition, integration, or data-driven solutions in financial services or B2B SAAS. Proven experience in sourcing and managing public, private, and third-party data for business-critical applications. Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive complex initiatives to success. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a data-driven approach to product management. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields. An MBA is highly preferred. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with executives, engineers, and customers alike.
