The COO will be responsible for driving efficiency, improving processes, and ensuring seamless execution of EPC and manufacturing projects while directly reporting to the Managing Director (MD). Key Responsibilities: Operations & Execution Management Oversee end-to-end execution of all EPC and manufacturing operations. Ensure timely project completion with high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Drive process optimization, resource allocation, and productivity enhancement. Business & Financial Performance Manage P&L responsibilities, ensuring financial growth and operational sustainability. Optimize procurement, supply chain, and inventory to control costs and improve profitability. Develop KPIs and performance metrics for operational excellence. Team Leadership & People Management Lead and mentor senior operations teams across different business divisions. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and performance excellence. Collaborate with HR to ensure workforce planning and talent development. Compliance, Risk & Stakeholder Management Ensure adherence to all industry regulations, legal frameworks, and safety standards. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies for project execution. Engage with key stakeholders, including government authorities, vendors, and clients. Key Requirements: Experience: Minimum 15 years in EPC or Manufacturing sector. Business Exposure: Must have led a ₹200 Cr+ business operation. Leadership: Proven ability to manage large teams and multi-functional operations. Operational Excellence: Strong experience in execution, process improvement, and cost optimization. Financial & Analytical Acumen: Expertise in P&L management, budgeting, and forecasting. Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Ability to handle high-pressure situations and complex challenges. Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to coordinate with external and internal stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: MBA/PGDM or equivalent in Business Administration, Operations, or Engineering. Engineering background preferred but not mandatory. Strong understanding of project execution, manufacturing processes, and industry trends.
