We also assist employees with finding suitable housing. Job Description: RS Software is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with over 10 years of industry experience. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the cards and payments domain, with a strong background in payment gateways and a thorough understanding of card payment processing—including Authorization, Clearing, and Settlement. Additionally, experience with acquirer payment certification processes, especially EMV certification for acquirers such as Worldpay, TSYS, and First Data, is essential. Familiarity with SWIFT, SEPA, and ISO20022 . This role will focus on enhancing and evolving our payment-acquiring product to meet the dynamic needs of the market. Key Responsibilities: Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Lead end-to-end business analysis for payment system enhancements and new initiatives Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and document detailed business and technical requirements Payment Processing Expertise: Analyze and optimize card payment processing workflows for Authorization, Clearing, and Settlement Provide expert insights on the integration and operation of payment gateways Acquirer Certification & Compliance: Understand and oversee the acquirer payment certification process, with a focus on EMV certification for various acquirers (e.g., Worldpay, TSYS, First Data) Ensure that the product meets all necessary regulatory and industry standards Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, developers, QA teams, and external partners to ensure alignment and successful project delivery Act as a bridge between technical and business teams, translating complex concepts into actionable plans Industry Trends & Best Practices: Recommend process improvements and innovations to keep RS Software at the cutting edge of payment technology Documentation & Reporting: Prepare comprehensive business cases, project documentation, and performance reports Present findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders Required Competencies: Experience: 10+ years of experience in business analysis within the payments industry Proven expertise in the cards and payments domain, including hands-on experience with payment gateways Technical & Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of card payment processing for Authorization, Clearing, and Settlement Extensive experience with acquirer payment certification, particularly EMV certification for acquirers such as Worldpay, TSYS, and First Data Familiarity with international payment standards and protocols such as ISO8583, SWIFT, SEPA, and ISO20022 Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Strong ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Proficiency in business analysis tools and documentation best practices Proficiency in Agile methodologies and hands-on experience using Jira for project tracking and management Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field Preferred Qualifications: Experience working on payment products similar to payment gateways Advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) are a plus Prior experience in a leadership or mentoring role within a business analysis team
