Role: Workday Integration EngineerLocation: Remote (India)Job Overview:The Lead Software Engineer will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing, developing, and implementing integrations between Workday and various external systems. This includes troubleshooting issues reported by HRIS and business users. The role requires close collaboration with HRIS and business users to understand requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.This position demands a strong understanding of Workday integration technologies and analytical skills in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Workday Integrations & Reports (10%) – Own the development and maintenance of Workday integrations and reports.Integration Development (40%) – Gather requirements, design, build, implement, and support Workday integrations using EIBs, Connectors, and Workday Studio.Custom Reports & APIs (10%) – Develop custom reports and APIs (REST & SOAP).Documentation (10%) – Document requirements, integration designs, and solutions.Security & Compliance (10%) – Design and build security groups for integrations/reports, ensure proper security provisioning, and guarantee data exchange compliance.Testing (10%) – Perform unit testing and support QA testing.Collaboration (5%) – Work closely with HRIS and business users to identify pain points and ensure alignment with business needs.Must-Have Technical Skills & Experience:✅ Workday Studio Expertise – Proficient in building complex Workday Studio integrations.✅ Workday HCM Knowledge – Strong experience in Workday HCM.✅ Integration Tools – Hands-on experience with EIBs, Core Connector, and Workday Studio.✅ Developer Tools – Experience with Studio, Oxygen, Postman, SOAP UI, or equivalent tools.✅ Custom API Development – Experience in developing custom APIs (RaaS).✅ Workday Public APIs – Working knowledge of SOAP and REST APIs.✅ Security & Compliance – Strong knowledge of calculated fields and security configurations.✅ XML & XSLT – Good understanding of XML and XSLTs.✅ Outbound & Inbound Integrations – Rich experience in both.✅ Documentation – Ability to work with business and vendors to gather requirements and maintain up-to-date documentation.Preferred Skills:Workday Integration Certification is a plus.Soft Skills:Strong communication skills – Ability to discuss integration requirements with business teams and vendors effectively.If Intrested.
