In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance databases, optimizing SQL queries, and supporting various SAP HANA-based projects. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years of experience in working with SAP HANA and related technologies, with a focus on performance tuning, data modeling, and integration.Key Responsibilities:Database Design & Development: Design, develop, and optimize HANA database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.Performance Tuning: Optimize and troubleshoot SQL queries to ensure efficient database performance on SAP HANA systems.Data Modeling: Develop and implement data models and ETL processes to ensure efficient storage and retrieval of data.SAP HANA Support: Provide day-to-day support for SAP HANA systems, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring.Integration: Work closely with other teams (ABAP developers, functional consultants) to integrate SAP HANA databases with SAP applications and other third-party tools.System Upgrades & Migration: Participate in system upgrades and database migrations within SAP HANA environments.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear documentation of development processes, database design, and technical solutions.Collaboration & Training: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions and share knowledge with peers and junior developers.Required Skills & Qualifications:Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP HANA database development, with a strong focus on performance tuning and data modeling.SAP HANA Skills: Strong knowledge of SAP HANA architecture, SQL, HANA Studio, and SQLScript.Performance Tuning: Proven experience in identifying and resolving performance issues related to SAP HANA.Data Modeling: Experience in designing and implementing efficient data models using SAP HANA and related tools.ETL Development: Knowledge of ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading, preferably in SAP environments.Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in SAP HANA Studio, SAP HANA Data Modeling tools, and other related SAP technologies.Database Management: Solid understanding of database management, backup, recovery, and security protocols.Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills, with the ability to resolve complex database issues.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to document and explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Preferred Skills:Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP BW/4HANA environments.Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud database services.Knowledge of SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 for front-end integration.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Certifications related to SAP HANA (e.g., SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP HANA) would be a plus.
