About the Role ; TeamWe are seeking a Senior Financial Consultant to lead and build a world-class financialsystems ecosystem. This role plays a critical part in the development, implementation, andmaintenance of our financial systems, supporting accounting, finance, legal, and financialoperations.As a key member of our team, you will drive system optimizations, automation, andintegrations, ensuring seamless financial processes across the organization. You’ll collaboratewith stakeholders, design scalable solutions, and champion best practices to enhanceoperational efficiency.What You’ll Do● Evaluate existing financial systems and assess new potential software solutions.● Lead business, accounting, and workflow process improvements across finance,accounting, revenue, operations, procurement, tax, audit, and security.● Drive the strategy and roadmap for ERP, Billing, and Procurement systems, ensuringalignment with cross-functional teams.● Own and maintain key financial systems, including NetSuite, Zip, FloQast, Stripe,Navan, Salto, Veza, and Ironclad.● Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and completeness across various internal systems.● Administer, configure, and enhance NetSuite and related financial applications.● Develop, implement, test, and deploy customizations, third-party tools, and newsystem functionality based on evolving business needs.● Lead change management and release processes for system enhancements.● Maintain system controls aligning with SOX IT general controls and compliancestandards.● Perform integrity testing of system upgrades and development releases beforedeployment.● Develop & maintain integrations between financial systems, ensuring smooth dataflow.● Utilize SuiteScript for back-end customizations in NetSuite.● Translate business requirements into technical solutions, bridging the gap betweenfunctional needs and system capabilities.● Leverage SQL, Python, and Bash scripting to optimize financial workflows andreporting.● Maintain documentation for integrations, system customizations, and workflows.● Work closely with accounting, finance, legal, and procurement teams to definebusiness requirements and translate them into system solutions.● Provide user training, troubleshooting, and support for financial applications.● Play a pivotal role in implementing financial system initiatives from inception tolaunch.● Partner with teams to integrate IT security best practices into financial processes.● Identify and recommend new technologies to improve financial processes.● Stay up to date with NetSuite, Zip, Stripe, and other financial systems to leveragenew functionalities.● Analyze and optimize financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting workflows.● Define and document functional requirements for financial systems, automations andintegrations.What We’re Looking ForMust-Have Qualifications✅ Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience in Finance and Accounting Systems.✅ Experience implementing and administering ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.✅ Strong expertise in Quote to Cash & Procure to Pay processes, including ordermanagement, invoicing, revenue recognition, and accounts receivable.✅ Hands-on experience with SuiteScript and customizing NetSuite.✅ Ability to translate functional and business requirements into technical solutions.✅ Proven experience in relational databases, SQL, ETL, and integration tools.✅ Solid knowledge of internal controls and financial compliance (SOX, audit, security).✅ Strong problem-solving skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and deliver high-performancesolutions.Preferred Qualifications⭐ Experience with Zip, FloQast, Salto, Stripe, and Salesforce.⭐ Hands-on coding experience in Python, Bash scripting, or related technologies.⭐ Prior experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments.⭐ Understanding of financial operations, reporting, and budgeting processes.⭐ Familiarity with IT security best practices for financial
