Role Overview KPMG India is hiring a Consultant to support the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the Rural Development & Panchayati Raj (PR) Department under the Swachh Bharat Mission – Gramin (SBM-G) in Himachal Pradesh. This role involves project management, stakeholder coordination, policy implementation, and impact assessment in the rural development domain. Key Responsibilities • Support the implementation and monitoring of Swachh Bharat Mission – Gramin (SBM-G) initiatives in rural areas. • Assist in program strategy development, policy formulation, and execution for rural sanitation and development projects. • Engage with government stakeholders, including department officials, local bodies, and field teams, to ensure smooth project delivery. • Provide data-driven insights, prepare reports, and support impact evaluation of sanitation and hygiene initiatives. • Manage capacity-building programs, training sessions, and workshops for field teams and local stakeholders. • Identify process improvements, address operational challenges, and ensure compliance with government guidelines. • Support in proposal development, presentations, and project documentation as required by the department. Education Qualification Post Graduation in any field Required Qualifications & Experience • 3–5 years of experience in project management, rural development, government consulting, or public policy implementation. • Prior experience working with government agencies, development programs, or public sector consulting is preferred. • Strong knowledge of Swachh Bharat Mission – Gramin (SBM-G), rural development schemes, and government policies. • Proficiency in data analysis, report writing, stakeholder management, and policy advisory. • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi.
