Job Description Position : Faculty - School of Law Location : DBS Global University, Dehradun Uttarakhand Employment Type : Full-Time About the Role We are seeking experienced faculty members to join the School of Law at DBS Global University located in Dehradun Uttarakhand. As a faculty member, you will contribute to delivering high-quality legal education, driving impactful research, and nurturing the next generation of legal professionals. Key Responsibilities Teaching Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate law courses with a focus on Indian and international legal frameworks. Prepare and update course materials, including case studies, assignments, and examinations. Employ innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning and engagement. Research and Publications Conduct independent and collaborative research in specialized areas of law. Publish high-impact research papers in recognized journals and contribute to the body of legal scholarship. Mentorship and Guidance Mentor students on academic, professional, and personal growth. Guide students through moot courts, legal clinics, internships, and dissertation projects. Prepare students for competitive exams, bar council registrations, and other professional milestones. Institutional Contribution Participate in curriculum development and ensure alignment with Bar Council of India (BCI) guidelines. Assist with university accreditation processes and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with colleagues to organize seminars, workshops, and guest lectures. Qualifications Essential A Doctorate (Ph.D.) in Law from a recognized university or Master’s in Law (LL.M.) with Minimum 3 years of teaching or relevant professional/ Industry experience . Candidates with a PhD degree will be preferred. Comprehensive knowledge of Indian legal systems, including Constitutional Law, Civil Law, Criminal Law, Corporate Law, or related fields. Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality teaching and develop engaging course content. Preferred Published research in reputable national or international journals. Experience in coaching students for moot court competitions or legal drafting exercises. Key Skills and Attributes Strong communication and presentation skills.
