This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of trade finance transactions while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and accuracy. The successful candidate will be responsible for authorizing letters of credit, scrutinizing documentation, coordinating with stakeholders, and supporting team management. Responsibilities: Authorize letters of credit (LCs), import/export LCs, collection bills, and banker's guarantees, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and internal procedures. Scrutinize documentation for import/export LCs, including confirmed LCs, to ensure accuracy and compliance with international trade practices. Ensure that all Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for process turnaround time and accuracy are met as agreed upon with clients. Maintain strict compliance with all business rules, regulatory directives (including local and global regulations, FEMA, and RBI guidelines), and operational processes and procedures. Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to meet client expectations and manage escalations. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of reconciliation processes, SWIFT, and SFMS Forex payments. Monitor the performance of subordinates, providing ongoing feedback and training to foster professional development. Assist team leads with various aspects of team management. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UCP, ISBP, URR, ISP, URC, FEMA, and RBI guidelines. Requirments: CDCS or CSDG certification. Proven experience in trade finance operations, with a strong understanding of international trade practices and regulations. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using relevant banking systems (SWIFT, SFMS, etc.). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree. Experience 4-7 yrs of relevant experience into LC document checking
