Job Description

As a Project Controller you will be responsible for or overall Cost Engineering, Planning and Scheduling, for all assigned projects or other designated areas of responsibility within the project controls function. Your responsibilities will be as follows:Review and understand all relevant documentation pertaining to the Project including scope of services, conditions of contract, Project execution plan, Project schedule, scope of work, etc. Verify and ensure completeness of the scope of work associated with the project.Prepare Project Control interface / coordination procedure on the ProjectUnderstand clearly the reporting requirements and develop reporting calendar for both planning and cost engineeringPrepare and update schedules along with relevant backups and qualifications, as requiredPrepare and update Schedule Basis Memorandum, as requiredDerive schedule dates for the work activities and establish milestones, in line with the project scheduleSupport the disciplines in developing their individual work plans and ensure timelines of activities are well within the project frameworkReview forecast dates in progress measurement system and ensure they are aligned to the Project requirementsReview exceptions and issue exception reports to the disciplinesPrepare progress and productivity and analyze the reasons for shortfall, if anyReview procurement activities and recommend corrective actions to procurement department in case of any deviations from project planIdentify and analyze deviations and trends against budgets and schedules, investigate such deviations with the relevant group and advise the Manager ProjectsLog all change requests and coordinate with the Manager Projects for regularizing the scope changes, budget transfers and schedule changesPrepare and issue reports as per the agreed reporting calendar in a timely mannerUpdate, maintain and issue Manpower Projection Plan based on inputs received from disciplinesSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills Strong communication skills in written and verbalJob Requirements:You are a diploma/graduate in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related fields and with minimum work experience of 2 years in project control, cost management, or project management.Experience in maritime or engineering sectors is a plus.You are proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or others).You have good communication skills and enjoy helping customers.You have minute attention to detail and seek perfection in your work.You will be willing to continue to develop your technical knowledge and skills.You are ready to serve minimum service commitment of 1 years in our company.We Offer:A full time position within the team with competitive benefits.Exciting and challenging working environment with exposure to international projects.A rapidly growing young and enthusiastic organization with shortest lines of communication with the management.Opportunities for international and domestic travel with ample scope of promotion and personal growth.
