Job Description: Knowledge of complete store operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on work results (Daily task). Ensure availability of all production and Maintenance parts (Direct/Indirect) and services by approving contracts; maintaining inventories Manage and reports inventory level of all parts with assigning min max level , Daily & weekly MIS as per procedure Must have command over 5S, FIFO , LIFO , Kanban methods, SAP Maintain store staff job results by coaching, counselling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring and appraising job results Candidate must have an experience of KANBAN/JIT related activities and should be aware about safety rules related to stores activities. Need to prompt on internal stakeholders communication. Understand safety requirements, MSDS rules and regularisation as per Product group, needs to follow and monitor Company directed policies. Provide training to improve the knowledge base of the staff and utilize cross-training methods to maintain productivity and ensure multitasking Understand Taxation , legel matters related to the stores function. Experience to face audits of customers, internal, external & Statutory auditors. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing given KRA on time. Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills : B.E./B. Tech/Diploma (Mechanical/Electronics) & post-graduation in materials Management with 8 to 10 years of experience in relevant manufacturing industry. Time management skills and ability to deliver to deadlines. Critical thinking and complex problem solving Analytical ability to comprehend facts and figures Ability to negotiate & make a report for decision making Experience in responding to common inquiries or complaints from vendors, contractors.
