We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead our efforts in expanding the market presence of our luxury sleep products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering relationships with high-end clientele, and driving revenue growth within the premium mattress segment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Market Research & Analysis: o Conduct detailed market research to identify trends, target demographics, and emerging opportunities within the luxury sleep market. o Analyze competitor activities and position the brand effectively. 2. Business Strategy Development: o Develop and execute business development strategies to penetrate untapped markets and strengthen existing market presence. o Align sales objectives with the company's overall growth strategy. 3. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management: o Identify and establish relationships with potential clients, including high-end retailers, interior designers, and hospitality businesses. o Maintain and nurture long-term relationships with existing partners and clients to ensure repeat business and referrals. 4. Sales Performance: o Achieve and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and proactive client engagement. o Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations to prospective clients. 5. Collaboration & Teamwork: o Work closely with the marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure client needs are met effectively. o Provide feedback to the product team regarding market preferences and trends. 6. Brand Representation: o Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and recognition. o Uphold and communicate the brand’s value proposition of luxury, comfort, and innovation. 7. Reporting & Documentation: o Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client communications, and market insights. o Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on sales performance and market developments. Key Qualifications: • Proven experience in business development, preferably within the luxury goods. • Strong understanding of the luxury market and customer psychology. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. • Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for growth. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset. • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred). Additional Requirements • Own Vehicle: The candidate must have access to a personal vehicle for work-related travel. A valid driver’s license and up-to-date vehicle insurance are required. • Own Laptop: The candidate is required to have a personal laptop with suitable specifications to meet the job's technical needs. Preferred Skills: • Experience in selling to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) or premium hospitality sectors. • Familiarity with CRM tools and sales management software.
