This firm partners with visionary entrepreneurs across various sectors, including technology, healthcare, and consumer products, to build disruptive companies.As the firm expands its portfolio and impact, they are looking for a talented individual to join its team and contribute to the sourcing, evaluation, and management of new investments.Key Responsibilities:A. Operations Support for Portfolio Companies:Actively engage with portfolio companies to provide operational support in areas such as product development, go-to-market strategy, and business scaling.Help portfolio companies with strategic planning, fundraising support, market analysis, and building key operational frameworks.Work closely with founders and senior leadership teams to identify operational bottlenecks and help implement solutions to improve efficiency and growth.Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for portfolio companies, and assist in identifying opportunities for operational improvements or scaling.B. Portfolio Management & Monitoring:Track and monitor the performance of portfolio companies, including financial performance, operational progress, and strategic goals.Assist in preparing reports for internal stakeholders and investors, focusing on both financial outcomes and operational achievements.Provide strategic insights and hands-on support to help portfolio companies meet their growth objectives and overcome operational challenges.C. Due Diligence:Assist in conducting comprehensive due diligence on potential investments, including financial analysis, competitive research, and customer insights.Analyze business models, financials, and market potential to assess investment viability.Provide operational insights during due diligence, including assessing a startup’s team structure, operational efficiencies, and growth strategy.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA is a plus).2-4 years of experience in venture capital, strategy consulting, business operations, or a similar role.Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.Ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with a high level of autonomy.
