Your role will be to assist other engineers or work independently in producing high quality work to a set deadline whilst following all procedures and quality checks required by RWS and the client.Key Responsibilities:Content Localization:Be responsible for localization projects such as preparation or File Integration projects.Build localizable elements (i.e. software and help).Efficiently manage and coordinate projects.Implement updates to files following quality assurance and language review.Guarantee the high standard and punctual delivery of verified files.Technical Proficiency:Knowledge of markup languages (XML, HTML).Good knowledge of file structure of software and web file types.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Basic knowledge of macro, scripting, programming languages and regular expression will be added advantage.DITA, would be nice to have someone that understands this.Quality Assurance:Test with the guidance of a test plan the localizable product thoroughly paying particular attention to relevant checks required.Report bugs in localizable elements in a clear and concise manner into a bugs database and then to close it once fixed.Technical Issue Resolution:Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and solve complex technical issues related to localization.Collaboration:Work closely with Mangers, Leads, and other team members (local/Global) to ensure seamless integration of localized content.Communication:Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.Process Leadership:Lead and establish processes for content creation, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and quality in deliverables.Requirements:Educational Background:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or a related field preferredExperience:Proven expertise in content creation and Software, Website & Help Localization, Knowledge of SDL Trados Studio and Passolo is added advantage.Preferred Qualifications:Industry Knowledge:Familiarity with the latest trends and best practices in Software, Website & Help Localization.Life at RWS - If you like the idea of working with smart people who are passionate about breaking down language barriers and giving back to their communities, then you’ll love life at RWS.Our purpose is to unlock global understanding.
