IIS is now entering an exciting new phase, implementing world-class performance analysis systems to enhance athlete development and competitive performance. In conjunction with CO-Analysis, we are seeking a passionate and skilled Performance Analyst to join our growing team and play a vital role in this transformative journey.Role Purpose: The Performance Analyst will play a key role in supporting the delivery of performance analysis services at IIS. This role involves filming, coding, analyzing, and providing actionable insights to coaches and athletes across multiple sports. The successful candidate will help embed a culture of evidence-based decision-making, using performance data to drive improvements and contribute to the overall success of IIS athletes on the national and international stage.Key Accountabilities:Performance Analysis Support: Provide comprehensive performance analysis services, including live and post-event analysis, to coaches and athletes.Filming of Training & Competitions: Manage the filming and capture of training sessions and competitions using professional sports analysis technology.Video Coding & Database Management: Code performances using analysis software and maintain an organised video and data library.Insightful Reporting: Create video playlists, performance reviews, and analytical reports to support athlete development and coaching decisions.Collaboration: Work closely with sports scientists, strength and conditioning coaches, and physiotherapists to integrate analysis into wider performance programs.Technology Management: Manage and maintain performance analysis equipment and software, ensuring they are used effectively across sports programs.Innovation: Support the development and implementation of new analysis techniques and technologies to enhance performance outcomes.Qualifications:A sports related bachelor’s degree, ideally in Performance Analysis, or a related field.Master’s degree in Sports Science, Performance Analysis, or a related field.Additional certifications in video analysis or sports data analytics.Knowledge & Experience:Proven experience in delivering performance analysis services in an elite or high-performance sports environment.Experience working with Olympic or professional athletes.Experience in filming and coding training sessions and competitions.Experience using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).Understanding of various sports performance metrics and their application to athlete development.Experience working directly with coaches to deliver impactful performance insights.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Passion for sports and athlete development.Knowledge of biomechanics and its application in performance analysis.Interest or background in swimming, wrestling, judo, boxing, athletics or cycling
