The ideal candidate will have experience in managing complex AI-driven projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful delivery aligned with business goals. This role combines technical expertise with project management, requiring an understanding of AI technologies, methodologies, and best practices. The ideal candidate should have a strong grasp of the complexities of AI systems and be familiar with the associated technical jargon. This includes understanding model architectures, large language model (LLM) concepts, training processes, evaluation metrics, and deployment challenges.Key Responsibilities:· Project Planning & Strategy:Define and manage AI project goals, objectives, scope, and deliverables aligned with business needs.Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for AI-focused initiatives.Work closely with technical teams (data scientists, engineers, researchers) to ensure project scope and technical requirements are understood and met.· Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments (e.g., R&D, engineering, product management, data analytics) to drive AI project success.Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, ensuring they are informed of progress, risks, and key decisions.Align AI projects with organizational strategy, translating business goals into technical requirements.· Risk Management & Problem-Solving:Identify, assess, and manage project risks related to AI development and deployment, ensuring timely resolution.Address any challenges or roadblocks in the project lifecycle, implementing corrective actions when necessary.· Project Execution & Monitoring:Oversee the execution of AI projects, ensuring they adhere to timelines and budgets while meeting technical requirements.Use project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, ) to track progress, milestones, and deliverables.· Team Leadership:Lead and motivate AI project teams, including data scientists, machine learning engineers, and developers.Facilitate communication and collaboration between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring alignment and clear understanding of objectives.· Continuous Improvement & Innovation:Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies, tools, and trends to incorporate best practices into project execution.Encourage innovative thinking and explore new AI solutions that drive business value.· Documentation & Reporting:Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, technical specifications, and post-project analysis.Prepare and present project status updates, including key performance metrics and business outcomes.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.Proven experience managing AI/ML projects, with at least 3-5 years in a similar role.Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts, algorithms, and technologies, including large language models (LLMs) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and the ability to adapt to AI-specific needs.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana, ).Solid communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.Experience in leading cross-functional teams, including data scientists, engineers, and business stakeholders.Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to mitigate risks and resolve challenges during project delivery.Preferred Qualifications:PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent.Experience with AI frameworks and platforms (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn).Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Project Management, or a related field is preferred.Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and AI/ML deployment.Experience working with large datasets and data pipelines.Familiarity with AI ethics, data privacy, GDPR guidelines and other regulatory standards.Working Conditions:Remote WorkingFlexible to travel as and when required.
