The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Purview Compliance Suite and a strong understanding of industry regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001. The role involves collaborating with clients, designing solutions, and overseeing compliance implementations to align with their business needs.What You’ll Do:1. Compliance Solutions Design and ImplementationLead the design and deployment of Microsoft compliance tools, including: Microsoft Purview Compliance Manager, Information Protection and Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Insider Risk Management and Communication Compliance, Records Management and RetentionDevelop tailored compliance strategies based on customer requirements and regulatory standards.Configure compliance policies, labels, and rules to secure sensitive data and maintain governance.2. Client Collaboration and AdvisoryConduct compliance assessments and gap analyses to identify risks and areas for improvement.Advise clients on best practices for meeting regulatory and corporate compliance requirements.Translate complex compliance regulations into actionable technical solutions using Microsoft tools.3. Deployment and ConfigurationImplement compliance solutions such as data classification, sensitivity labeling, and encryption using Microsoft Purview.Configure advanced auditing and reporting capabilities to monitor compliance adherence.Ensure secure data governance across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments.4. Training and EnablementProvide training sessions and workshops for client stakeholders on Microsoft compliance products.Create comprehensive documentation for compliance configurations, policies, and procedures.Support client teams with knowledge transfer to enable self-sufficient compliance management.5. Monitoring and Continuous ImprovementSet up automated compliance monitoring and reporting systems.Conduct periodic reviews of compliance implementations to address evolving regulatory changes.Recommend enhancements to compliance posture based on emerging threats and trends.6. Collaboration and LeadershipAct as the primary technical liaison between client teams, internal teams, and Microsoft.Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver compliance solutions on time and within budget.Stay updated with advancements in Microsoft compliance tools and industry regulations. What You’ll Bring: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.Experience: 7+ years in IT compliance and governance, with at least 3 years specializing in Microsoft compliance products.Strong expertise in Microsoft Purview Compliance Suite and its components, including: Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Compliance Manager, Insider Risk Management, Records ManagementComprehensive understanding of regulatory frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, CCPA, and SOX.Hands-on experience with compliance configuration in Microsoft 365 environments.Proficiency in conducting compliance risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Security & Compliance Center and advanced auditing features.Strong communication skills to explain complex compliance solutions to non-technical stakeholders.Experience in project management, with a focus on delivering compliance solutions.Certifications (preferred):Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)Microsoft Certified: Information Protection Administrator Associate (SC-400)CISSP, CISM, or equivalent certifications.Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including hybrid setups.A sense of humor
