The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing precise and detailed technical drawings, layouts, and documentation for utility-scale solar projects. This role requires expertise in AutoCAD and familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) workflows. This position is remote with the company based in Dubai, with potential site visits if required.Location: Delhi/IndiaWork Mode: Full-time, remoteKey ResponsibilitiesDevelop electrical and solar PV system drawings, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD.Prepare single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, and panel schedules for LV, MV, and HV electrical systems.Create solar PV layouts, including string configurations, array layouts, and inverter connections.Generate as-built drawings, construction drawings, and fabrication details.Ensure compliance with local and international electrical design standards.Work with BIM tools (Revit), GIS, and shading analysis software when required.Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and external consultants to ensure seamless project execution.Maintain document control and version management for design files.Qualifications & ExperienceEducation: A diploma or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is mandatoryExperience: Minimum 5+ years of experience as an AutoCAD Draftsman, with a focus on electrical and solar PV system design.Software Expertise: Proficiency in AutoCAD & Excell, Revit (for BIM), and GIS tools.Technical Skills: Strong understanding of electrical design principles, solar PV layouts, and grid connections.Detail-oriented: Ability to produce precise and high-quality technical drawings.Preferred: Experience working with BIM, Aconex, Wrench, EgesDoc, or other document control platforms.Languages: Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).If you have a strong technical background in AutoCAD drafting for electrical and solar PV projects and are looking for an opportunity to contribute to innovative renewable energy projects in Dubai, we encourage you to apply.
