Roles & Responsibilities:Strategic Sales Leadership:Drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships with major telecommunications operators across APAC, South Asia and Middle East marketsDevelop and execute go-to-market strategies for digital content services, mobile entertainment, and value-added services portfolioOwn regional P&L responsibility with revenue targets exceeding $15M annuallyLead complex, multi-stakeholder negotiations with C-level executives at major telecom operatorsIdentify and capitalize on emerging opportunities in 5G content services, mobile gaming, and digital entertainmentAccount & Content Management:Maintain and grow strategic relationships with key telecom operators including revenue share optimization and business model innovationDrive content monetization strategies aligned with operator requirements and market dynamicsLead portfolio optimization of digital content and services based on regional consumption patterns and operator feedbackOversee content licensing, revenue share negotiations, and partnership agreements with major content providersEnsure compliance with telecom regulations and operator requirements across multiple marketsHands-on Leadership:Directly manage and grow top 5 operator accounts while building and mentoring a high-performing sales teamActively participate in critical client meetings, technical discussions, and commercial negotiationsGuide technical teams on operator integration requirements and launch planningProvide hands-on coaching to team members on complex deal structures and negotiation strategiesRegular travel to key markets for direct engagement with operator executivesBusiness Operations & Analytics:Implement data-driven decision-making using operator performance metrics, user analytics, and market intelligenceDrive operational excellence in areas of technical delivery, content operations, and customer supportDevelop and track KPIs for content performance, user engagement, and revenue optimizationEstablish processes for regular business reviews with operator partnersRequired skills and qualifications:20+ years of experience in telecom industry with at least 8 years in senior sales/business development rolesProven track record of managing $15M+ annual revenue through direct operator relationshipsEstablished relationships with senior executives (CXO level) at major telecom operators in APAC & Middle EastDeep understanding of telecom VAS, digital content services, and operator business modelsExperience in both traditional VAS and emerging digital services (OTT, gaming, digital entertainment)Strong commercial acumen with experience in complex deal structures and revenue share modelsExceptional negotiation skills with ability to close high-value, long-term contractsDemonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams across multiple marketsExcellent understanding of telecom regulations and compliance requirementsStrong analytical skills with focus on data-driven decision makingAbility to travel extensively within the region (40-50%)Education:Bachelor's degree required, MBA or equivalent preferredProfessional certifications in relevant areas advantageousLocation:Bangalore (Preferred)/ Delhi or Mumbai (Flexible)Note:Successful background verification mandatoryPrior experience with major telecom operators in key markets essentialTrack record of successful long-term operator relationships required
